Assistant Conductor Jing-Huey Wei is a native of Taiwan who came to the US to study
Viola at Boston University with Steven Ansell, Principal Violist of the Boston Symphony.
She is currently the director of the Middle School and Elementary String program
for Arlington Public schools and founder of the Burnside Music Festival, a summer
music program featuring Orchestra, Chamber music and Improvisation for string players
of all ages. Ms. Wei also is the principal Violist with the Waltham Symphony.
