SEASON 2008-2009

For the first full-season of the orchestra, Maestro Patrick Botti invited exciting artists. From France,  the  orchestra welcomed the rising star in the cello world, Eve Marie Caravassilis.

From Lexington, Massachusetts, young pianist prodige and international soloist George Li joined the orchestra in a rousing performance of the Mendelssohn’s First Piano Concerto.

She performed with the WSO the Dvorak’s Cello Concerto.

ElliottMarkow does not need any introduction. His famed violin playing is celebrated all over the United States, and behyond. His performance of the Brahms’ Violin Concerto was one of the highlights of the season.

Patrick Botti presented a season of masterworks including Beethoven’s 5th Symphony,  Mozart’s 35th Symphony (“Haffner”) , Tchaikovsky’s 5th Symphony and many others.
